Olympics

This spot was so much fun to work on. Happn is a local dating app. This spot was produced to coincide with the Rio Olympics. There was so much to reflect with the music, clearly it needed to have a Brazilian “flavour”. The pacing needed to match the running and on screen action, it needed to be upbeat, fun, warm….basically it needed to be Brazilian !

The sound design was really dictated by the theme of the spot. Without going into lots of detail there are two fun parts. The first is that I recorded the crowd noises at a Real Madrid football match when I was there working for Tele Madrid. The second is this spot features my amazing voice acting (those are my kisses when the guy kisses his muscles).
