This project really was a sound designer’s dream job. Spaceships, aliens, chase sequences…..what more could I ask for !

There is so much amazing content to highlight in this film, the light and dark, the mood and feeling of fear and the unknown. It was so much fun to produce (plus I got to play with synths all day which is possibly my favourite thing).

Apart from the obvious synth work there are a few fun parts from the production of this.

The leaves blowing by were actually recorded on my patio at home (there’s a lot to be said for not sweeping it enough), and the sounds of people playing football at the park was something I’d recorded a few months previously whilst I was out and about recording various bits of foley.
